Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will involve a broad range of responsibilities including financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and enter invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage commission payments for sales representatives
  • Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets with complex formulas
  • Handle payroll processing in compliance with Australian laws
  • Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Generate monthly financial reports
  • Oversee debt collection processes
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in MYOB Premier
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including use of formulas
  • Proven experience with Australian payroll and tax laws
  • Experience preparing BAS and monthly financial reports
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with an Australian company
  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry
