Role Overview

The role of Wealth Sales Relationship Manager entails managing a portfolio of high-value clients, focusing on delivering exceptional service quality and understanding client financial needs. This involves developing strong relationships with clients to acquire, cross-sell, and retain their business.

The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of financial planning and wealth management principles, as well as excellent communication, influencing, and sales skills. They should be able to attract new business by understanding client financial requirements and providing high standards of service quality.

This is a client-facing role that requires professionalism, client focus, and a deep understanding of financial planning concepts. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring, cross-selling, and retaining a portfolio of wealth clients, working closely with internal teams to achieve business performance measures and plans.

The role holder will need to review portfolios regularly to identify cross-selling opportunities and embed client loyalty by meeting client needs either directly or through other internal business partners. They must also contribute to maintaining an environment where the wider team can maximize performance and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain operational integrity and manage individual performance effectively.
  • Contribute to a performance-driven culture within the Branch team.
  • Ensure effective management of the portfolio according to the Target Operating Model (TOM) defined by the HSBC Group.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum three years' progressive experience in financial services and/or retail sales, with evidence of strong sales results in insurance and investment products.
  • Solid knowledge of financial services products and services, as well as client relationship management systems.
  • Valid licenses and accreditation in wealth management, as required by local regulatory bodies.
  • Strong sales orientation, networking, and portfolio management skills.
  • Excellent communication, client focus, and influencing skills.
