Financial Transaction Coordinator

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and maintaining healthy relationships with clients and vendors. This includes processing and managing all accounts payable transactions, including invoice validation, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations, as well as handling accounts receivable functions by generating invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Accounts Payable Transactions:
  • Validate and process incoming invoices, ensure timely payment to vendors, and perform vendor reconciliations.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable Functions:
  • Generate and send invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate customer accounts.
  • Monitor Financial Performance:
  • Track and analyze accounts payable and receivable aging reports, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams:
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues with vendors and clients.
  • Maintain Accurate Records:
  • Ensure accurate and detailed financial records, assist in month-end closing activities, and provide regular financial reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
