Financial Transactions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for following our industry standards, processing and implementing day-to-day transactional accounting, and producing complete and accurate financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Process invoices, apply payments, and reconcile transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform soft reconciliations weekly and hard reconciliations monthly, ensuring accuracy in coding and matching transactions.
- Prepare and reconcile schedules for various accounts such as AR, AP, payroll accruals, loans, and fixed assets.
- Assist in managing cash flow by monitoring AP closely and ensuring available cash aligns with financial obligations.
- Map accounts, sync data, and generate financial reports using established templates.
- Analyze and review month-over-month income statements, making necessary adjustments.
- 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience doing month-end close processes, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills required for analyzing transactions.
- Strong understanding of debits/credits, journal entries, and accrual-based accounting.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
