About the Job

As a key finance leader, you will drive clarity, discipline, and scalable systems to support our company's growth.

The Director of Finance will take full ownership of the finance function, streamline monthly close and cash forecasting, and deliver actionable performance insights that guide smarter, faster decisions.

  • Main Objectives:
  • Deliver accurate financials on time and ensure zero material errors
  • Maintain and optimize cash flow strategy to ensure liquidity and financial stability
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting across the business to align department budgets with growth targets
  • Build scalable financial systems and operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting time
  • Drive profit optimization across departments to uncover cost-saving and margin improvement opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Primary Activities (20%): Focus on delivering high-priority tasks with minimal distractions
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage invoicing, collections, and payments to maintain cash flow
  • Cash Management Operations: Monitor daily cash positions and maintain liquidity
  • Compliance and Audit Readiness: Ensure GAAP compliance and manage internal controls
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll and reimbursements for accuracy and timeliness
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee accurate and timely sales tax filings and payroll tax submissions
  • Systems and Software Management: Optimize financial tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual work
  • Inventory and COGS Management: Reconcile inventory regularly and validate COGS entries
  • Strategic Insights and Decision Support: Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams to assess financial impact and support growth initiatives
  • Financial Dashboard & KPI Maintenance: Maintain dashboards and scorecards to ensure clear visibility into performance

About You

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with exceptional analytical skills, compliance knowledge, and process optimization expertise. As a strategic finance leader, you will inspire, mentor, and lead teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success building scalable finance systems and strategic reporting processes
  • Experience in multi-channel eCommerce or retail preferred
