Accounting Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of the accounting department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Controller and driving business growth through financial insights and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead month-end closing duties, including analyzing general ledger accounts and providing insights on significant variances.
  • Prepare internal financial reports, assist in variance analysis, and provide commentary on financial trends and results.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, ensure resolution of discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all required tax forms, work with external tax advisors, and manage federal, state, and local tax filings.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits, ensure compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and other relevant regulations.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting processes, collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve workflows and reporting capabilities, and assist with ERP system optimization and accounting procedures documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
