Job Description

Drake International Philippines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Taguig City.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Credit Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies to monitor, manage, and mitigate customer and credit risks on an ongoing basis, ensuring compliance with global and regional policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments for customers, monitoring credit status and risk development, and performing periodic reviews of the credit portfolio in accordance with established protocols.
    • Promote proactive business partnering to support sales development within business units, providing guidance on credit risk management topics.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credit risk management.
  • Cash Management:
    • Ensure timely and efficient cash flow management by performing related tasks, including cash forecasting, monitoring, and analysis.
    • Liaise with banks to establish and maintain adequate cash management systems, clearing, and collection processes.
    • Oversee treasury-related activities, including bank account setup, e-banking control, bank guarantees issuance, dividend planning, and cash flow monitoring.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with merchant banks, ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures.
    • Develop and maintain reliable cash forecasting and status monitoring systems to inform cash forecasts.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
    • Lead, monitor, and review finance and accounting operations in Purchase-To-Pay (P2P) processes to meet established timelines, ensuring statutory compliance for audit, tax, and other legal requirements.
    • Implement and maintain effective controls, conduct sample testing, regular health checks, and reconciliation processes in payable processes.
    • Ensure compliance with company payment policies and procedures, including authorization and workflow.
    • Monitor payment systems, such as expense reimbursement, and support resolving system and workflow issues.
  • Supporting Activities:
    • Act as backup for local Finance team activities and provide support on Finance-related administrative topics.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
    Requirements:
    • Graduate degree in Accountancy or relevant field.
    • Preferably certified public accountant (CPA).
    • A minimum of 5 years of senior accounting experience in a multinational company, covering financial, cost, management accounting, and budgeting.
    • Detailed professional accounting knowledge and understanding of legal, statutory, and company frameworks for reporting.
    • Ability to compile and disseminate accurate accounting information to inform business decision-making.
    • Skillful use of SAP and advanced Excel skills.
    • Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks.
    • Ability to analyze figures from a broad perspective and in detail.
    • Logical and methodical approach to work organization.
    • Clear thinking and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Proactive attitude and willingness to work independently.
