Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tax Specialist to handle business tax returns and provide expert advice on tax implications, deductions, and strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file business tax returns, including Form 1065 for partnerships and Form 1120 for corporations.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax documents and clarify any concerns related to their business tax situation.
  • Utilize tax software for the preparation and analysis of tax returns, ensuring all calculations are accurate.
  • Provide insights to clients on tax implications, deductions, and strategies to optimize their tax position.
  • Review prior year returns and apply applicable changes to current filing.
  • Maintain organized records of all financial statements, tax documents, and communications with clients.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in preparing business tax returns, especially for corporations and partnerships.
  • Proficient in using tax preparation software, particularly for business tax filings.
  • Strong understanding of relevant tax laws, regulations, and compliance issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients on tax-related matters.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. Professional certifications such as CPA or EA are a plus.
