Job Summary
  • Record patient details, admissions, and referrals.
  • Manage scheduling, appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling for patients and healthcare providers.
  • Enter patient data, medical records, and billing information into electronic medical record systems.
  • Process insurance claims, verify patient insurance details, and handle billing inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist with incoming patient inquiries, offering assistance and guiding them to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Analyze healthcare data, compile reports, and maintain records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to health information privacy regulations.
  • Transfer medical records as instructed by managing physicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a medical field or related industry.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a virtual medical assistant.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong comprehension of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems.
  • Knowledgeable about healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Robust organizational and time management skills.
  • Technologically adept.
