Accounting Specialist Role

The Accounting Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial statements. As an experienced accounting professional, you will work closely with the Corporate Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate reporting under US GAAP.

This is a full-time position that requires strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in intercompany eliminations. You will be responsible for preparing reconciliations and journal entries, maintaining various schedules, and reviewing standalone financial statements of subsidiaries.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic professional who can work extensively with ERP systems, building customized reports for data analysis and reconciliations. Your ability to suggest and support process improvements and efficiencies will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with US GAAP
  • Maintain various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures
  • Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities
  • Review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries
  • Work extensively with ERP systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent certification
  • 6-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience
  • Strong technical accounting expertise in intercompany eliminations
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
