Senior Accounting Manager


About the Role:

This is a senior-level accounting position that involves both technical expertise and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices. They will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing a team of accountants and bookkeepers, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and laws.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environment. They will also be proficient in accounting software and able to perform complex tasks efficiently.

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with management and clients to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
