Mergers and Acquisitions Expert

Deliver strategic advice and guidance to support business owners in achieving a successful exit through the transaction process.

  • Support key stakeholders as a primary Broker, ensuring timely assistance from initial onboarding through to deal closure.
  • Provide critical insights and recommendations throughout the transaction process, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Oversee listings for existing sellers and drive their sales journey, monitoring listing performance, fielding buyer inquiries, and providing regular updates and feedback to improve outcomes.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with colleagues in managing and coordinating platform-generated legal documents, such as Letters of Intent (LOIs), Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), and Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
  • Allocate time to buyer-side activities, understanding buyer needs and pairing them with relevant listings.
  • Promote the value proposition and leverage outreach strategies to convert interest into actionable opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and manage strategic relationships effectively.
  • Assist team members in presenting business proposals and negotiating optimal transaction terms.
  • Monitor CRM hygiene using tools such as HubSpot to track leads, interactions, and opportunities efficiently.
  • Lead post-transaction feedback sessions to refine strategies and improve ROI.

Key requirements include:

  • Proven work experience in M&A, Brokering or Sales, preferably with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to undertake business analysis and process improvement is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in a marketplace environment, digital asset sales will be considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Commerce or Marketing will be highly regarded.
