Job Summary


This role is responsible for procuring materials and services to support vessels and enhance guest experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing and revising purchase orders, sourcing items from suppliers, coordinating logistics, and providing follow-up and expediting as needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Purchase Order Management
    • Issuing and revising purchase orders for approved service, repair, and material requisitions;
  • Sourcing and Procurement
    • Sourcing items from suppliers through research and identification of supply options;
  • Logistics and Supply Chain
    • Coordinating logistics for material or parts repair up to final destination;
    • Providing follow-up and expediting as needed to ensure supply arrival at final destination;
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintaining proper backup documentation in the purchase orders file;
    • Developing and maintaining regular progress reports on all initiatives;
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • FOLLOWING prescribed guidelines and procedures on Technical Purchasing defined in the Purchasing Manual;

Requirements:


  • Education:
    • Associate's Degree in Technical education or background in technical trading field;
  • Experience:
    • 1 year of technical purchasing experience, preferably in business or technical purchasing;

    • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Teamwork:
    • Ability to work as a team member;
  • Language Skills:
    • Good knowledge of English language.
