Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of goods, materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine requisitions for correctness and completeness based on detailed specifications of the items to avoid confusions and delays.
  • Procure goods, materials, equipment, and services outside the designated geographical area.
  • Identify reliable and competent suppliers/contractors and ensure that requests are forwarded to the right parties by reviewing and updating product lines and services suitable to our needs.
  • Evaluate and determine the right suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare purchase orders in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and conformity with other units.
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with internal and external customers to expedite processing of orders within boundaries and under ethical codes of purchasing.
  • Monitor timely delivery to support completion of projects within schedule.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of any engineering course.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, proficiency in Google Workspace and OpenOffice applications is an advantage.
