Disaster Response Coordinator

As a Disaster Response Specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service and support during disaster relief efforts in a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers with inquiries and learn common requests and solutions.
- Enhance the customer experience by utilizing our service techniques and systems.
- Escalate customer dissatisfaction to proper channels.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills essential.
- The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute) is necessary.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is a requirement.
- Understanding of Windows operating systems is also necessary.
- High reliability with regular attendance and punctuality expected.
- Able to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues.
- Conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation skills are required.
- Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious).
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage.
- Strong team orientation and customer focus are essential.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments where change and ambiguity are prevalent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with teams and customers.
