Business Development Representative Job Opportunity

This role offers a chance to contribute to the sales team of a rapidly growing robotics scaleup. As a Business Development Representative in APAC, you will play a pivotal part in identifying potential customers and qualifying their interest in our products.

Your responsibilities will include generating leads through social media, phone, and networking activities, validating and qualifying leads using outbound sales techniques, and holding virtual product demonstrations. You will also introduce sales qualified leads to local partners and assist in organizing roadshows and tradeshows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads using social media, phone, and networking activities
  • Validate and qualify leads using outbound sales techniques
  • Hold virtual product demonstrations and assist in person
  • Introduce sales qualified leads to local partners and your regional sales manager
  • Assist in the organization of roadshows, partner events, and tradeshows

Requirements:

  • Experience in cold calling, lead generation, and dealing with rejection
  • Passionate, competitive, and curious nature
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Post-secondary education or 1-2 years of professional working experience
  • Willingness to be coached alongside senior sales staff and travel up to 20%

  • Passion for the latest technologies and innovations that solve problems for customers
  • Tech savviness working with outreach tools and CRM systems
