Job Title:

Expansion Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Expansion Strategist to play a key role in promoting and expanding our portfolio in Southeast Asia.

  • The successful candidate will establish relationships with key decision makers of training organizations, universities, language schools etc. and drive new business opportunities and partnerships across the region assigned.
  • We are looking for someone who can identify and develop business opportunities for us in Southeast Asia through direct sales and channel partnerships.
  • The ideal candidate will build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts.
  • Forging high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers in language education and assessment is a crucial aspect of this role.
  • The candidate will develop go-to-market strategies tailored to each country's unique language education landscape.
  • Maintaining market penetration and brand awareness of our certifications in both public and private sectors is essential.
  • Participating in trade shows, language education events, and strategic forums across the region is also expected.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Postgraduate qualification is a plus)
  • 10+ years' experience in business development, ideally in the language testing, education, EdTech, or certification sectors
  • Proven success in consultative B2B sales and partnership development
  • A deep understanding of the language learning and assessment landscape in Southeast Asia is required
  • Experience working across diverse cultural contexts and multi-country portfolios is essential
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are necessary
  • Fluency in English (C2 level); proficiency in any major Southeast Asian language is a plus
  • Tech-savvy, with familiarity in CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
