Language Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Language Training Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in language training, education, or instructional design and be able to support and mentor language trainers in their professional development. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Mentoring language trainers: Provide individualized coaching and support to language trainers, fostering their growth and development as educators.
  2. Facilitating online training sessions: Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and encourage active participation from trainers and assessors.
  3. Developing training materials: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to develop online training materials, including presentations, guides, and multimedia content.
  4. Identifying professional development needs: Identify the professional development needs of language trainers and assessors, and coordinate relevant training sessions, workshops, or webinars.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, communication, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a language trainer, instructor, or educator, preferably with experience in coaching or mentoring.
  • Excellent understanding of various language proficiency frameworks (e.g., CEFR) and their application in training.
  • Proficiency in using web conferencing tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other online training platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
