Foreign Exchange Risk Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Foreign Exchange Risk Manager to join our finance team. This role is critical to managing exposure to foreign currency fluctuations across multiple currencies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize FX exposure.
  • - Collaborate with the CFO and VP Finance on hedging strategies to align with the company's risk tolerance.
  • - Maintain accurate forecasts of incoming and outgoing foreign currency flows to support cash flow planning and risk management.
  • - Reconcile FX transactions and provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
  • - Ensure all FX activities comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • - Identify and implement improvements to FX risk management processes, systems, and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and hedging techniques.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with multi-currency environments—ideally in a finance or treasury role.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury management systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Professional certification is an advantage.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and payments platforms.
  • Familiarity with accounting treatment of FX gains/losses and hedging.
