We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Risk Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The IT Risk Manager will be responsible for conducting SOC 1, SOC 2, and HIPAA audits with the support of experts.

  • Analyze and strengthen tech controls to ensure robust security.
  • Share impactful findings with management.
  • Discover ways to enhance client operations and drive results.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and teammates.
  • Lead client meetings and build trusted relationships.
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to shine solo or in a team.
  • High drive to succeed and grow.
  • Fluent English.
  • Just 1 year of IT audit experience at a Big 4 or equivalent – perfect for young professionals.
Preferred Skills

Prior experience with the following would be beneficial:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, cyber security, or MIS.
  • Certifications like CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA (active or in progress).
Technical Expertise

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in:

  • IT Audit Skills: Execute SOC 1/2 and HIPAA evaluations with precision.
  • Risk Identification: Spot and assess IT risks and gaps.
  • Compliance Standards: Expertise in SOC, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA.
  • GRC Software: Use tools to streamline audit processes.
Familiarity with Additional Tools and Frameworks

Familiarity with the following platforms and frameworks is an asset:

  • Automation Platforms: Vanta, Drata, or Secureframe.
  • Cloud Expertise: AWS or Azure security.
  • Broader Frameworks: NIST CSF or GDPR.
