Project Coordinator

A highly skilled professional with a strong background in quantity surveying, architecture, and project coordination is sought after to fill this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preconstruction activities including takeoff, estimates, scheduling, scope creation, package splitting, tender documentation, and subcontractor communication.
  • Technical oversight of project execution.
  • Reviewing plans and proposing value-engineered alternatives.
  • Contract setup and management.
  • Post-contract project coordination including budget control, procurement, cash flow, and quality assurance.
  • Handover processes, operation and maintenance, services, utilities, building control, and warranty management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, quantity surveying, or architecture within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and architectural design.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
