Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the private interests and investments of a family office while working closely with the Accounting Manager.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in accounting and a proactive approach to ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and reporting across a diverse investment portfolio.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of investment portfolios, overseeing all related accounting entries, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of accounts.

Accounting Responsibilities

You will process and monitor payments, receipts, and intercompany transactions, reconcile bank accounts and investment accounts, and liaise with Fund Managers, Bankers, and System Administrators to resolve discrepancies.

Investment Administration

You will track and record investment activities, maintain accurate records of asset valuations, income, and distributions, and assist with due diligence and documentation for new investments.

Process Improvement & Controls

You will identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and risk mitigation, support the development and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies.

Additional Responsibilities

You will provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to management and principals, assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and treasury functions, and coordinate with Singapore HQ and other stakeholders as required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred, minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a family office, private wealth, or investment environment.
