Job Overview:

The Senior Facilities Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of building systems. This includes conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting guides, and monitoring maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect equipment operations of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life support systems daily.
  • Prepare meter readings for tenants and submit them to the accounting department regularly.
  • Document findings on daily rounds log and shift technicians' log.
  • Respond to emergency calls from tenants and report malfunctions of utility systems.
  • Provide temporary solutions to equipment and building problems to sustain current operations.
  • Cover emergencies by coordinating with other technicians as needed.
  • Coordinate work with outside contractors regarding building access, safety rules, regulations, and precautions.
  • Submit periodic reports to management about building operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor tenant construction/fit-out processes and report non-compliance with building regulations.
  • Recommend necessary tools, instruments, equipment, and materials for building operations.
  • Create technicians' work schedules.
  • Maintain all building plans, layouts, diagrams including tenant fit-out plans securely.
  • Assist management on energy optimization programs for the building.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be a college graduate, preferably holding a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, with at least 2-3 years' experience in real estate industry and property management.

  • Familiarity with property management technical operations.
  • Able to prepare engineering operation reports effectively.
  • Strong technical and leadership skills.
  • Work order management - can simplify complex situations/problems into workable segments and develop action plans and recommendations based on deliverables.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in English.
