About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Google Ads Manager to create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across all relevant Google platforms to generate high-quality leads for our construction services. This role requires expertise in Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and other Google tools to drive measurable results, targeting Bay Area clients seeking construction solutions. Key Responsibilities
Google Ads Campaign Management:
Design, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across all applicable tabs and formats (Search, Display, Video, Shopping, Remarketing, Performance Max) to generate leads for construction projects.
Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and develop targeted ad copy tailored to the Bay Area construction market.
Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI, focusing on cost-per-lead, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
Google Tag Manager & Tracking:
Set up and manage tracking through Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate data collection for conversions, events, and user behavior.
Implement and troubleshoot tags for Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other third-party tools to support campaign tracking and optimization.
Lead Generation:
Drive high-quality leads (e.g., homeowners, property managers, businesses) to schedule consultations with our project managers.
Track and report on lead performance, ensuring leads convert to meetings and sales.
Collaborate with the sales team to refine targeting and improve lead quality.
Analytics & Optimization:
Monitor campaign performance using Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide regular reports on key metrics (click-through rates, cost-per-click, conversion rates, lead volume, ROAS).
A/B test ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies to boost campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
Experience:
2+ years of proven experience as a Google Ads Manager with a track record of generating leads through successful campaigns.
Demonstrated expertise in managing campaigns across all Google Ads tabs (Search, Display, Video, Shopping, Performance Max, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager for tracking and conversion setup.
Familiarity with the construction industry or B2C/B2B lead generation is a plus.
Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of Google Ads (all campaign types), Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and related Google tools.
Strong understanding of keyword research, bid strategies, audience targeting, and campaign optimization.
Ability to write compelling ad copy and design or collaborate on effective landing pages.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in tracking, reporting, and interpreting campaign performance data.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) for clear communication.
Availability:
Flexible schedule, but must be available for work and check-ins within 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PDT to align with team and client needs.
Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation
Base Salary: $400/month.
Commission: 0.5% of all sales generated from leads you produce (estimated monthly commission: $500).
Estimated Total Monthly Earnings: $900 (base + estimated commission).
