Job Description

This Technical Support Specialist role supports partners and customers, troubleshoots issues, and ensures seamless operations across our platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for telecommunications and a strong technical background.

  • Assist with technical requests from company employees
  • Triage, prioritize, and route all issues into the system
  • Keep end users informed about ticket status

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in technical troubleshooting.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate:

  • A willingness to jump into unfamiliar situations and learn
  • A customer-service oriented disposition
  • The ability to own a problem from initial report until final resolution
  • High proficiency in technical troubleshooting
  • Installing and configuring software and hardware on laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Managing inventory of company laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Familiarity with common end-user applications including: Chrome/Firefox, G Suite, MS Office
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Two year certificate or degree from an accredited institution
Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in:

  • Using Atlassian Jira for ticket management
  • Managing a VoIP PBX phone system
  • Working on an IT/helpdesk team
  • Hands-on experience with G Suite, Active Directory, and antivirus/malware platforms
