Senior Business Finance Specialist

This position is a key member of the financial planning and analysis team, responsible for supporting the monthly forecasting and budgeting cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inputting and managing financial data in the Workday Adaptive Planning system to support forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensuring quality data across all relevant systems, identifying and driving remedial actions where necessary.
- Supporting analysis, review, and articulation of budgets and forecasts with finance leads and business owners.
- Analyzing financial data to prepare reports comparing actual results against budgeted and forecasted results, identifying variances, and providing insightful commentary.
- Providing ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and modeling support as part of the wider FP&A team.
Projects may include:
- Supporting transformational finance projects, including finance systems migrations, commercial system integrations, company restructuring, development of reporting tools and processes, and enhancements of core finance systems.
Qualifications and skills include:
- Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with practice background preferred.
- Post-qualification experience in industry advantageous.
- Strong excel skills with financial modeling experience essential.
- Experience with Power BI, Workday, Sharperlight, and Netsuite beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team.
- Understanding of multi-currency and global working environment.
