Accounts Payable Professional

In this critical finance role, you will ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices to vendors.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and approval
  2. Prioritize timely payment and resolve discrepancies
  3. Maintain accurate records and reconcile accounts payable transactions
  4. Support month-end closing and financial reporting processes
  5. Communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders on inquiries and issues
  6. Collaborate in implementing and maintaining accounts payable systems and processes
  7. Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems
  8. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required
  9. Participate in initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
  3. Detailed understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  6. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
  7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
