We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our organization as an Information Systems Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software and networking systems.
  • Ensure the availability, security and integrity of the company's data and systems.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage user accounts and access rights, adhering to strict security protocols and procedures.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security, maintaining the highest standards of governance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment and software licenses, ensuring all assets are properly documented and accounted for.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software and networking, with a focus on architecture, design and implementation.
  • Proven experience in IT asset management, documentation practices and access reviews, with a strong understanding of risk management principles.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, CIS or ISO 27001, with a solid grasp of threat analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with system setup, deployment and maintenance across PCs, mobile devices, IoT and endpoint management tools, including patch management.
  • Experience in managing and implementing Antivirus (AV) or Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, ensuring optimal security posture.
  • Knowledge of onboarding/offboarding workflows and proficiency with automation tools, including scripting and no-code platforms.
  • Experience with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) or Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Ability to evaluate, test and implement emerging technologies to strengthen IT operations and drive business growth.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or MCSE, would be an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
