Job Overview

The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key role in planning, developing and executing engineering projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Innovation: Developing innovative product designs and refining existing ones.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with Manufacturing and Sales teams to ensure product designs are feasible and meet customer needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focusing on enhancing product quality, reducing costs and streamlining design processes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and providing regular progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering design principles.
  • Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
