Accounting Operations Manager

About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead accounting operations, overseeing daily functions including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounting Operations: Oversee all daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial data management.
  • Supervise Subsidiary Accounting: Directly supervise accounting activities for subsidiaries and collaborate with third-party accounting firms to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure Financial Integrity: Review and analyze intercompany accounts, post subsidiary trial balances, and perform variance analysis to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Develop and prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
  • Implement Process Improvements: Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing solutions to enhance accounting processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a BPO or service company, with international background a must.
  • Strong grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, forecasting, and financial reports.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to work with all levels of management and motivate others.
  • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities and flexible attitude towards changing priorities.
