Finance Professional Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to play a pivotal role in our dynamic and supportive team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. They will also pull and analyze reports from Xero, building and maintaining Excel-based financial models (including three-way forecasting). Additionally, they will support the budgeting, forecasting, and cost control cycle, manage intercompany journals, transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, consolidate reporting across New Zealand, Australia, and Canada, reconcile subscription revenue using Stripe data, ensure accuracy in recurring revenue streams, provide financial analysis and insights that help shape business decisions, act as a trusted partner to leadership, delivering confidence and clarity around numbers, prepare SaaS Metrics reporting, and constantly identify and implement process improvement in our Finance processes.

Qualifications and Skills
  • CA or CPA qualified with experience in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Minimum 3-4 years accounting and financial analysis experience.
  • Experience leading month-end close processes – end to end, and intercompany accounting and reporting.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Exposure to SaaS or subscription revenue models preferred but not essential.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, including financial and three-way modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
