Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise and leadership potential, with a passion for solving complex challenges in the technology space.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, partnering with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting, and designing and rolling out processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350.

You will also prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership, lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation, identify and implement process and system improvements, participate in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives, and take ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies
  • At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus)
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com and Credit Card transaction experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism
