Financial Management Specialist

This role involves the management of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. The Financial Management Specialist will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, petty cash, and other accounts. They will also assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and local accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely completion and accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other accounts to prevent errors and discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and financial reporting standards.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is an advantage.
