Cloud Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a senior member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the cloud infrastructure, leading technical projects, and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a programming background and a proven track record of managing complex projects and cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage JIRA project configurations including schemes, permissions, notifications, custom fields, and issue types
  • Provide support for Confluence, offering best practices and guidance where necessary
  • Implement high-impact automations across departments, leading to measurable improvements in turnaround time and process reliability
  • Identify and deliver new automation initiatives in line with emerging business requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, build, and refine automated workflows
  • Post-migration support and administration of JIRA and Confluence SaaS platforms
  • Integrate user onboarding with Okta and Active Directory, significantly improving provisioning and access management
Requirements:
  • Strong Jira experience covering migration, design, and administration of all aspects of the service
  • Strong Confluence experience covering migration, design, and administration of all aspects of the service
  • Proficiency in programming, with a demonstrated history of developing and maintaining custom solutions
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including migrations, cloud automation, security best practices, and architectural design
