Building a successful career in cloud engineering requires a deep understanding of automation, engineering, and architectural design with a focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background and a proven track record of developing custom solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture & Engineering: Design, implement, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • AWS Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and Terraform.
  • Software Development: Build robust, scalable applications and tools using preferred programming languages such as Python, React.js, and JavaScript.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions into existing systems.
  • Project Leadership: Take ownership of cloud and platform engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, securely, and in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Technical Strategy & Governance: Understand corporate toolsets, provide recommendations for architectural designs, and ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks.
  • Escalation & Troubleshooting: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Share knowledge and best practices to foster continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in software development, a passion for cloud technologies, and excellent problem-solving skills. Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts are also essential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, from designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions to building scalable applications and tools. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions into existing systems and take ownership of cloud and platform engineering projects.
