Strategic Project Leadership Opportunity

 

Senior project managers play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of organizational strategic projects.

To this end, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to collaborate with our Transformation Center of Expertise and business/support teams in driving and overseeing the execution of organizational strategic projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage bank portfolio projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, risk management, IT, and business units to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior executives and stakeholders, communicating project status, issues, and risks clearly.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager with a strong track record of delivering complex change initiatives across functions, tribes, borders, and/or business lines.

Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or related fields, with at least 4 years leading transformation/strategic projects.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale projects within a banking environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
