Financial Operations and Regulatory Expert

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our financial operations and regulatory functions.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records across multiple international entities, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS, managing AP, AR, and general ledger functions in complex multi-entity environments, processing and reconciling inter-company transactions and eliminations, and preparing detailed variance analyses and performance reports for executives.

The successful candidate will also navigate complex accounting standards for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors, manage reporting for FDA, EMA, EFSA, Health Canada, and other regulatory agencies, coordinate with legal/compliance teams for audits and regulatory financial filings, maintain cost accounting aligned with cGMP and product development standards, and support transfer pricing documentation and international tax compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license or international equivalent (CA, CGA, ACCA).
  • 5–8 years of accounting experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and international accounting standards.
  • Proven confidentiality and discretion with sensitive financial data.
  • Experience with SEC/public company reporting and regulated audit environments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently across time zones in a remote setup.
