Job Title: Search Performance Strategist

We're looking for a technical search performance specialist who's passionate about data-driven strategies, scalable systems, and building sustainable growth. This role is highly technical—perfect for someone who doesn't just optimize titles and meta descriptions but also thrives in crawling logs, auditing JavaScript-rendered pages, fixing indexing issues, and collaborating with developers to implement scalable SEO solutions.

You'll work cross-functionally with devs, designers, and content strategists—so strong communication skills are key, but so is being obsessed with performance metrics, search trends, and technical site health. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing in-depth technical SEO audits and implementing scalable solutions
  • Optimizing site architecture, internal linking, and crawl paths for discoverability
  • Collaborating with developers to improve Core Web Vitals and page performance
  • Ensuring proper indexing and crawling using tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
  • Monitoring and improving structured data markup and schema implementation
  • Conducting log file analysis to diagnose bot behavior and crawl budget issues
  • Researching and implementing new SEO automation scripts or tools for efficiency
  • Staying up-to-date with algorithm updates and SEO best practices
  • Providing data-driven SEO insights using GA4, Looker Studio, and other analytics tools
  • Contributing to content strategy from a technical perspective (canonicalization, duplication, hreflang, etc.)

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably in a SaaS, eCommerce, or content-heavy environment. A deep understanding of SEO ranking factors, search engine crawling, and rendering processes is required. Proficiency with tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio / Data Studio is necessary. Experience collaborating with developers via GitHub, Jira, or similar tools is essential. Strong understanding of mobile-first indexing, site migrations, and international SEO is a must.
