Senior In-Charge Auditor Role

This senior-level position is responsible for overseeing and guiding complex audit engagements. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading external audits, with a strong background in CaseWare and the ability to deliver high-quality results.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. They will also have a deep understanding of IFRS and be able to educate and redirect team members effectively.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA qualification (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 5 years' external audit experience
  • At least 2 years leading audit engagements end-to-end
  • Proficient in planning budgets and managing audit resources
  • Experience in reviewing and signing off work papers
  • CaseWare expertise is essential
  • Prior audit experience with Australian clients is required
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS
Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely, high-quality deliverables covering complex sections while overseeing fieldwork, coordinating deliverables from multiple team members.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of systems and methodology; educate and redirect team members.
  • Lead the team through the engagement, preparing financial statements, disclosures, and reportable conditions letters, focusing on quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor productivity, budgets, and ensure adherence to work plans.
Requirements Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and confident communicator with a strong analytical and critical thinking skillset. The ideal candidate will have a high learning agility and adaptability, with excellent written and verbal English skills.

Audit experience and level determination will be based on individual exposure, technical interview, and evaluation. Successful applicants should have reliable internet with a minimum bandwidth of 20 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download, with latency below 30ms.
