POSITION: CHIEF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

OFFICE: REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIVISION (ROD), TESDA CAR

SALARY: SG-24 (PhP 94, PERA: P2,000.00 RATA: P10,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

1. Directs, supervises and coordinates the operations of the Region;
2. Reviews and finalizes policy recommendations on TVET for the approval of higher authorities;
3. Recommends to the Regional Director systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective policy program implementation;
4. Provides technical services and staff advice on TEVT to TechVoc Institutions;
5. Manages and implements plans, programs and projects;
6. Initiates social marketing, advocacy and networking;
7. Ensures active multi-sectoral participation of concerned public and private agencies;
8. Recommends measures for effective and efficient operations of the division;
9. Performs other related functions.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:

Education: Master's degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC

Experience: 4 years of supervisory/management experience

Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention

Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

• List of supervisory/managerial training programs attended indicating the number of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates;
• Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2023 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2023 and January to June 2024 (if applicable) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
  • Superior
  • Peers
  • Subordinates (if applicable)
  • Clients (if applicable)
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
• Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
• Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
• Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable);
• Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
