Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to apply data analysis expertise in a business environment, leveraging insights from data to inform strategic decisions. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play a key role in driving impact through the intersection of AI, linguistics, and human judgment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support internal analyses by generating insights from large datasets to inform business strategy.
  • Communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Assist with client meetings as a subject-matter expert while primarily focused on internal analysis and insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R is essential for this role.
  • Applied expertise in statistical modeling and experimental design, including concepts like sampling, confidence intervals, and agreement metrics.
  • Experience working with moderate-to-large datasets, with the ability to scale analyses as data volume grows.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence/visualization tools like Looker Studio, Sisense, Tableau, or Power BI is required.
  • Experience in cloud data environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to convey complex insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and navigate complex challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is required, or equivalent practical experience.
  • SQL skills must be highly proficient, with the ability to query, manipulate, and manage data within relational databases.
  • Statistical knowledge, including probability, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing, is also essential.
  • Database and data warehousing knowledge, including concepts like ETL processes and data management, is important for managing large datasets.
  • Oral and written comprehension, as well as appropriate language use, are critical skills for success in this role.
