About the role

We seek an experienced Learning Experience Designer to join our team at SunLoan Lending Investors Corporation.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to design and deliver immersive training experiences that drive professional growth and enhance the capabilities of our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging learning materials, including interactive modules, simulations, and assessments.
  • We require a subject matter expert who can develop both in-person and virtual training sessions with high levels of interaction and engagement.
  • The role involves implementing training techniques that improve knowledge retention and application, ensuring our employees have the skills they need to excel in their roles.

Collections Training

  • The successful candidate will develop specialized training programs for collections teams, focusing on effective debt recovery techniques, negotiation skills, and compliance with legal regulations.
  • A strong understanding of customer-centric approaches to debt recovery and the ability to train collections staff accordingly is essential.
  • The role also requires up-to-date knowledge of company policies, ethical collection practices, and regulatory requirements.

Onboarding & Compliance Training

  • The successful candidate will facilitate structured onboarding programs for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Developing and implementing compliance training programs related to financial regulations, fraud prevention, and responsible lending practices is a key aspect of the role.
  • We require a trainer who can keep training materials up to date with the latest industry regulations and company policies.

Performance & Skill Development

  • The successful candidate will identify skill gaps and collaborate with department heads to create targeted training programs.
  • A focus on digital lending products, systems, customer service best practices, and fraud detection techniques is required.
  • The role involves monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance tracking.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • The successful candidate will work closely with HR, compliance, and operations teams to align training initiatives with business goals.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and learning technologies is essential for success in this role.
  • We require a trainer who can recommend improvements to training methodologies based on employee feedback and performance metrics.

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a training or learning & development role, preferably within the financial services or lending industry.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving approach to identifying training needs and designing impactful solutions.
  • Proficiency in using training delivery tools and technologies such as LMS platforms, authoring tools, and video conferencing.
  • A passion for continuous learning and commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
