Acquisitions Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Acquisitions Analyst to support the acquisition and finance teams with tasks such as financial analysis, market research, due diligence, investment presentations, and pipeline management. The role requires effective communication with the executive team, property sellers, brokers, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments.
  • Review and analyze offering memoranda and seller-provided materials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis for investment decision support.
  • Prepare high-quality presentation decks and assist in property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordinating with third parties.
  • Perform market-level due diligence, including sale and lease comparables and investment trends.
  • Organize and maintain the acquisition pipeline, providing administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting is highly preferred.
  • MBA degree is an asset.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions is required.
  • Experience with top consulting firms or financial institutions is a plus.
  • Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities is essential.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills are necessary.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines with minimal oversight is crucial.
