About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate holds an accounting degree and demonstrates a strong aptitude for financial analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing high volumes of vendor invoices, maintaining general ledger records, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing high volume of vendor invoices
  • Maintaining General Ledger: Record all financial transactions accurately in the general ledger system
  • Prepare Financial Statements: Generate periodic financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare reports and statements
  • Reconcile Accounts: Ensure accuracy of accounts by reconciling discrepancies and making adjustments as necessary
  • Month-end and Year-end Close: Lead or assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle Accruals and Prepayments: Manage accruals for expenses incurred but not yet paid and prepayments for expenses paid in advance
  • Assist in Audits: Provide necessary information and support during internal and external audits
  • Conduct Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights into financial performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Accounting degree
  • Experience with GLs
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organization and communication skills
