We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in commonly used accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Perform daily banking activities, including reconciling bank statements and recording deposits and payments.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with customers and vendors in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with budget preparation and ensure compliance with relevant tax and accounting rules.
- Manage payroll processing for the organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as a bookkeeper, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
