Financial Leadership Opportunity

We seek an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team, overseeing financial operations and providing strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll, superannuation, and ensure timely settlement of ATO liabilities.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on payments, and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Track spending, adhere to budgets, investigate transactions, and oversee cash flow and liabilities.
  • Provide transaction data to bookkeepers, ensure account reconciliation, and respond to financial inquiries.
  • Prepare financial reports for stakeholders, assist auditors, and provide financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification; post-graduate qualifications are highly regarded.
  • 5+ years in a senior financial role, preferably in non-profit or community organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations (ATO, superannuation), ASIC, and ACNC frameworks.
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and policy development.
  • Proficiency in Xero, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and ideally Salesforce.
  • Leadership skills, results-driven, and team-building abilities.
  • High ethics and integrity, committed to organizational goals.
  • Reliable, accountable, and capable of meeting deadlines in remote work settings.
