Senior Lending Strategist

We are seeking a Senior Lending Strategist to lead our credit risk and collections strategy, overseeing end-to-end lending operations for consumer and SME portfolios across Southeast Asia.

  • Drive business growth, operational efficiency, and responsible lending while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, analytics, operations, legal, finance) to design and execute risk-informed strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the credit risk and collections lifecycle for consumer and SME lending.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics expertise, including SQL, R/Python/SAS, and data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau).
  • Build credit/collections scorecards, segmentation strategies, and predictive models.
  • Establish and manage credit governance frameworks, KPIs, NPLs, and write-offs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 8-15+ years of leadership experience in credit risk, collections, or credit policy.
  • Deep understanding of debt-collection laws, AML/KYC standards, and fair-lending compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams (5+ direct reports).
