Job Overview

The Cyber Security Head plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Information Security Policies, Standards, and Procedures are aligned with industry best practices for enterprise security and industrial control systems.


This role initiates planning for security projects and initiatives, providing oversight functions to ensure resources needed to implement information security projects and initiatives are adequately available.


Knowledgeable on various protective technologies, this individual strengthens the security posture of the company by reporting all information security related issues, risks, and findings to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).


Implementing directives within agreed timelines and expected quality of output, this professional supports internal audit for Information Security and provides support for external audits, data privacy audits, and compliance checks.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee overall activities in the information security governance team to ensure deliverables are completed within timelines and within expected quality.
  • Identify risks proactively and propose areas for improvement to the Group CISO and Senior Management Team.
  • Establish functional and technical information security policies, standards/guidelines and procedures, ensuring effective implementation across business units.
  • Develop an Information Security Awareness Plan and operationalize it across the company.
  • Establish KPIs to gauge information security implementation effectively.
  • Analyze new security solutions and processes to streamline existing solution sets, ensuring unified and cohesive security architecture.
  • Conduct Information Security Risk Assessments and audits across various business groups.
  • Manage projects, mitigating risks to ensure completion within agreed timelines.
  • Mentor team members to have a solid understanding of applicable information security standards, educating them on how to carry out audits and risk assessments.
  • Provide timely updates and escalations of security issues, risks, and findings to the CISO.
