Compliance Tax Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including GST/BAS, payroll tax, and other Australian tax requirements within a consolidated group and joint ventures.
- Prepare and lodge monthly Goods & Services Tax (GST) Business Activity Statements (BAS) / GST Returns utilizing automated GST reports and ITX Edge tax software.
- Prepare and lodge monthly Payroll Tax Returns and annual Payroll Tax reconciliation.
- Prepare and lodge monthly Pay As You Go Tax Instalment calculations.
- Reconcile monthly tax accounts, including Income Tax Payable, WHT payable, PRT payable.
- Prepare annual Australian Tax Returns for the consolidated income tax group and joint ventures using CCH Integrator tax software, including International Dealings Schedule and analyzing international related party transactions.
This role demands a highly skilled tax professional with 5+ years of experience in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Tax degree, Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), and proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite particularly Word and Excel.
