Senior Property Manager Position Overview

The ideal candidate for this senior property management role is an experienced professional with a deep knowledge of U.S. property management, proven leadership skills, and the ability to balance tenant relations, administrative efficiency, and team management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor junior on-site property managers, ensuring best practices are followed across the team.
  • Oversee tenant communications, lease renewals, and resolution of escalated tenant issues.
  • Assist in managing leasing activities, including advertising, coordinating with your on-site team for property showings, applicant screening, and drafting lease agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms, investigate violations, and address tenant disputes professionally.
  • Supervise vendor coordination for maintenance repairs and upgrades, and coordinate with the on-site property manager for larger renovation projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership on property marketing strategies and operational improvements.
  • Oversee properties' financial performance, including drafting budgets, tracking actuals to budget, and dictating strategies to maximize financial outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong background in U.S. residential and/or commercial property management (required).
  • Previous experience managing or leading a property management team.
  • Proficiency with AppFolio or similar property management software.
  • Available to work in US time zones.
  • Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer.
